Step 1     Prepare Yourself and Your Vehicle.

• Attend our free training course.  This is a prerequisite for all Medium rated trips and above.  
• Check that the “Trip Rating” is suitable for your vehicle, your level of experience and that you have the appropriate equipment.  
• Download a Personal Emergency Details Form. Instructions are on the form. This is not compulsory but is highly recommended for your own safety.

Also see Trip Preparation and Safety Procedures.  Every trip is a learning experience for everyone.  Always feel free to ask the Trip Leader any questions.  They are all experienced and keen to help.  Many Trip Leaders are also Club Instructors.  There is always the potential for vehicle damage on any trip.  Do not attempt anything with which you are uncomfortable – let the Trip Leader know if you have any concerns.
